Stark Sightings
October definitely kept the Stark Team busy! We were everywhere this month connecting with partners, volunteering within our communities, and attending professional development trainings. Wherever we went, we brought our passion for design and innovation with us. Check out what we were up to!
The Table
Our Marketing Manager, Gloria Modafferi, recently attended The Table a lunch hosted by Studio Lourdes and Michilli Inc. that brings together inspiring women leaders across the AEC industry. The event created space for authentic connection, shared experiences, and powerful storytelling celebrating how women continue to shape and elevate the built environment. It was a meaningful opportunity to unite, exchange ideas, and highlight the strength that comes from collaboration and community.
Daikin Roadshow
Our Director of Mechanical Engineering, Keith Leung, attended the 11th Annual Daikin Roadshow in Long Island, NY — an event that brings together industry professionals for hands-on learning, innovation, and connection. The roadshow serves as a dynamic platform for education and relationship building, showcasing Daikin Applied’s latest, industry-leading HVAC solutions. We were proud to be part of this event, gaining valuable insights into cutting-edge products, connecting with fellow professionals, and continuing our commitment to engineering excellence and ongoing learning.
CANstruction 2025
Jodie Thomas Long and Gloria Modafferi of Team Stark proudly volunteered their time with the SDA National to help set up for Canstruction® New York, a one-of-a-kind event where AEC firms create stunning structures made entirely of canned goods.
These incredible designs aren’t just for show once the exhibition concludes, all cans are donated to City Harvest, helping to fight food insecurity across New York City.
